Deborah Halvorsen, Jeri O’Hara, and Steve O’Hara made a presentation on May 13, 2013, to a liability insurer about defending motor vehicle accident claims in Northeast Florida. They shared their knowledge with a room full of claims professionals on subjects such as the pros and cons of removing cases to federal court, the practical aspects of defending against damages claims based on pain management, and the practical implications of Florida’s new expert witness rules (Daubert in place of Frye).
