Brian M. Guter graduated cum laude from law school in 2014 and joined the firm in 2016. He is currently a partner with the firm and is licensed to practice law in all state courts throughout Florida and Georgia. He is also admitted to the federal district court for the Middle District of Florida. Brian has tried numerous cases in both Florida and Georgia state courts, as well as federal court. He has also handled several appeals, including successfully arguing an appeal before the First District of Court of Appeals.
His practice focuses on personal injury defense, including the representation of individuals, businesses and insurers in automobile negligence matters, including cases involving liability disputes, commercial motor vehicles, or punitive damages exposure. He also routinely represents local business owners in premise liability cases involving allegations of negligent security or dangerous conditions. Brian routinely handles pre-suit matters with high exposure and assists clients in responding to spoliation letters. The majority of his practice involves defending personal injury lawsuits through all phases of litigation, including trial and appeals.
Brian is an active member of the Jacksonville Area Defense Counsel and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (JADC), having served on the board of the JADC for a number of years. Outside of the office, Brian enjoys spending time with his fiancé, going to the beach or a local concert, and he is an avid fisherman.
