Deborah Halvorsen Honored as Trial Lawyer

Congratulations to Deborah Halvorsen on her election to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Deborah was previously honored by the Florida Bar certifying her as a civil trial specialist. Now, she has been elected to one of the most prestigious invitation-only trial advocacy organizations. Membership is limited to trial lawyers of high personal character and honorable reputation, and requisite levels of jury trial experience.

ABOTA is a national Association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA works to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury.
