Favorable Jury Verdict

In April 2012, Mike Regan and J. Stephen O’Hara obtained a favorable jury verdict in Duval County on a case tried on the issues of causation and damages only. Plaintiff began treating with pain management after a motor vehicle accident, and sustained a cervical hematoma during pain management treatment which required emergency surgery and a subsequent two level fusion. Plaintiff boarded over $200,000 in past medical bills. Jury found no permanency, and awarded only $36,661.50. This was reduced to $16,541.35 after set offs.
