Steve O’Hara Elected Chair of Florida Wildlife Federation

The Florida Wildlife Federation has been keeping the wild in Florida since 1936. Steve O’Hara has been elected to a two-year term as Chair of its Board of Directors. Conserving wildlife habitat and protecting recreational access to Florida’s natural resources have been Steve’s life-long passions. He said, “I know of no grassroots statewide conservation organization in Florida which is more effective at doing those things than the Florida Wildlife Federation. Its priority right now is Amendment 1 which is on the November 4 ballot and would provide 20 years of dedicated funding for conservation, management, and restoration of Florida’s natural water and land resources. I look forward to leading the Florida Wildlife Federation while this critical constitutional amendment is enacted and implemented.” For more information about Amendment 1, go to http://voteyeson1fl.org.
