Kimberley D. Leonard is from Miami, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies from Bethune-Cookman University in 2011 and her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2015. After being a stay at home for some years, she decided to start her career by serving as an Assistant Public Defender in Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit, where she gained extensive courtroom experience representing clients with diligence and zealous advocacy.

Kimberley is currently an associate at O’Hara Law Firm, P.A., where she provides effective advocacy and thoughtful counsel to her clients.

She is also active in the legal community, where she was awarded 36 under 36 by the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division in 2024. Kimberley is also a fellow in the Florida Bar Leadership Academy, currently serving on the Florida Bar Attorney Grievance Committee until June 2028, and previously served as President of the Daniel Webster Perkins Bar Association 2024-2025.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kimberley is a devoted wife and mother. She is also a proud member of the Gamma Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her personal interests include literature, fashion, and fine arts, which reflect her vibrant spirit and dedication to lifelong growth and enrichment.
