OUR FIRM
Founded in 1995 and based out of Jacksonville, Florida, the O’Hara Law Firm has focused its practice on insurance defense litigation for more than twenty-five years. Our firm handles all kinds of insurance defense and liability cases throughout Florida and Georgia in county, state and federal court. We are a member of the prestigious Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).
Our primary areas of practice involve motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and construction disputes and defects. In addition to defending against lawsuits, we prosecute lawsuits for declaratory judgment on coverage, provide a variety of pre-suit services, and handle appeals of orders and judgments. Among the pre-suit services we provide are evaluations of liability claims, coverage opinions, time-limited settlement demands, SIU and fraud investigations, Civil Remedy Notices of Insurer Violations, examinations under oath, and evaluation regarding bad faith and extra-contractual exposure.
We draw upon years and years of experience to provide our clients with effective and cost-efficient representation. Our attorneys are highly experienced in handling various defense claims from origination through settlement negotiations, litigation, trial and appeal. Our firm goes to trial, and we have the knowledge, tools, and experience to do it well.
Our firm’s depth of experience handling insurance defense matters combined with its state-of-the-art technology, give us the ability to help our insurance clients meet the demands of handling a high volume of claims in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. We are large enough to provide the knowledge, resources, and experience needed to effectively manage a large volume of cases, yet small enough to be flexible and attentive to the evolving needs and expectations of our clients.
